The authentication process for the items we sell is based on our brand experience and extensive knowledge of vintage designer items. The brands listed on our website are not responsible or bound by our authenticity findings.

SIZING

Where possible, items have been laid flat and measured in inches, prior to listing. Some original size labels will also be listed in the product descriptions, however vintage sizing can vary from the standardised clothing sizes of today, and vintage shoes in particular can fit small, dependant on the style. We recommend to check the measurements carefully, and compare to an item you own of similar measurements. If further measurements are required to ensure fit, please contact us prior to purchase and we will try our best to provide these.

RETURNS POLICY

Due to the nature of vintage clothing, we have a strict no returns policy, all items are final sale. We do not accept returns or exchanges under any circumstances. Amo specialises in providing vintage and pre loved items and some signs of wear, unless noted, should always be expected. All pieces are sold ‘as is’. Every effort is made to provide full product descriptions but please do not hesitate to contact if you require additional information, details or photographs about an item you are interested in, prior to purchase. Please be mindful that vintage pieces have led a previous life, and may tell a story through minor imperfection. Purchasing vintage items continue their narrative, so you can be confident that you’re making a positively conscious choice for the planet.

Due to the way payments are processed, should orders need to be cancelled they will incur a cancellation charge, which will need to be made payable prior to refunding.

SHIPPING

We aim to dispatch online orders twice a week but please allow up to 7 days for your items to be processed and dispatched. All orders will generate a dispatch note to the email address provided at time of purchase once they have left our hands. After your item has been shipped, please allow 2-3 days for UK delivery and 7-14 days for international delivery.

Orders will be sent using recycled and re-used packaging where possible. We charge a flat rate as standard for UK and international delivery, depending on item size and weight. Large or heavy items may incur a surcharge. For UK orders, we use special delivery for all shipments to ensure all items are fully tracked and recorded throughout their journey. This provides full security of accounting for dispatched items and covers a safer method of guaranteed shipping. Please ensure your delivery address is correct and secure - we are not responsible for items not received due to an incorrect or incomplete shipping address. Items marked undeliverable due to an incorrect shipping address will be reissued if and when they are received back and will incur a re-shipping fee. If you have a preferred shipping method not offered at checkout, please contact us and we will try our best to make that happen.

Please note, due to recent Brexit trading laws, there may be a tax payable upon arrival of your item if purchasing outside of the UK. We are not responsible for any import duties, please bear this in mind when ordering from us and check your countries import rates for further details.

AUTHENTICITY

All of our items are authentic and carefully inspected before they are sold. Each product that comes undergoes a multi layered authentication process. We have an extensive knowledge of vintage designer items and all items are checked for inconsistencies extensively. On top of our own experience, we also use third party authentication services to verify our products.

FAQ

DO YOUR ITEMS COME WITH PROOF OF PURCHASE OR AUTHENTICITY CARDS? 

Our products are authentic. Our items do not come with proof of purchase or authenticity cards unless stated. This is due to the age and second hand nature of our items and has no bearing on the authenticity of our products. 

WHY ARE SO MANY OF YOUR ITEMS SOLD OUT?

Due to high demand, many of our products sell out within the day. However, we restock with similar items weekly. If there is something in particular you have missed out on, send our customer care team an email at info@amovintage.com and we will let you know when or if we have a similar product coming in.

CAN YOU SOURCE ME A SPECIFIC ITEM?

Yes! We provide a sourcing service at no extra cost. Please contact us with item details and we will try our upmost to source your item. As the nature of vintage fashion is limited and can be very exclusive, we can not guarantee it will always be possible to find specific items on the vintage resale market within a given time frame, but we will keep our eye out for you. If we are able to source your item, we ask for a non-refundable holding deposit until the transaction has been completed.
