SHIPPING, PRE-ORDERS & TERMS

We aim to dispatch in-stock online orders twice weekly, however please allow up to 7 days for your order to be processed and dispatched. A dispatch confirmation will be sent to the email address provided at checkout once your order has left our hands.

Estimated delivery times are as follows:

  • UK orders: 2–3 working days

  • International orders: 7–14 working days

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary due to courier delays, customs processing, seasonal demand, or circumstances outside of our control.

Orders may be sent using recycled or reused packaging where possible.

We charge a flat-rate shipping fee for UK and international orders depending on parcel size, weight and destination. Oversized or heavy parcels may incur an additional surcharge.

UK orders are typically sent via fully tracked services. International orders are sent using tracked services where available.

If you require a specific shipping method not shown at checkout, please contact us prior to ordering and we will do our best to assist.

After dispatch, parcels are handled by third-party carriers and delivery estimates are not guaranteed. While we will always assist where possible, delays in transit are outside of our control and do not qualify for discounts, refunds, or compensation.

AMO is not responsible for costs related to returned packages due to not claiming a package and/or providing an incorrect address. If a package is returned to us, please note that the purchase will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. Original shipping and processing fees cannot be refunded. AMO is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged mail. Once your package has left our studio, it is in the care of your mail courier and all following action will need to be taken with your local post office.

PRE-ORDERS

Selected items may be offered on a pre-order basis.

Unless otherwise stated on the product page, the average estimated timeframe for pre-order items is 2–3 weeks from order date to dispatch.

Please note these timeframes are estimates only and may vary slightly depending on sourcing availability, supplier delays, transit times, customs clearance, or other factors outside of our control.

Where significant delays arise, we will contact you using the details provided at checkout.

Pre-order purchases are made specifically to fulfil your order and are considered final sale.

DELIVERY RESPONSIBILITY

Please ensure your delivery address is entered correctly and is secure.

We are not responsible for failed delivery, delays or loss resulting from incorrect, incomplete or insecure address details supplied at checkout.

Once a parcel has been marked as delivered by the courier, responsibility for the parcel transfers to the recipient.

If you believe your parcel has been delivered incorrectly or cannot be located, please contact the courier directly using your tracking number. Couriers are often able to confirm GPS delivery scans and delivery location details.

We are always happy to assist with opening a courier investigation where possible.

If a parcel is returned to us due to failed delivery, non-collection, refusal, unpaid customs charges, or address issues, additional shipping charges may apply before re-shipment.

IMPORT DUTIES & TAXES

For international orders placed outside the United Kingdom, import duties, taxes or customs charges may apply on arrival depending on your country’s regulations.

These charges are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.

Please check your local import rules before purchasing.

SIZING

Where possible, items are measured laid flat prior to listing, with measurements typically provided in inches or centimetres.

Original labelled sizes may also be included where available. Please note that vintage sizing often differs from modern standard sizing, and vintage footwear may fit smaller depending on brand and style.

We strongly recommend checking all measurements carefully and comparing them against a similar item you already own.

If any additional measurements are required, please contact us prior to purchase and we will do our best to assist.

RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS

Due to the nature of vintage and pre-loved items, all sales are considered final sale.

All pieces are carefully described and sold in pre-owned condition. Signs of wear consistent with age and previous use should be expected unless otherwise stated.

We encourage customers to review all descriptions, imagery and measurements carefully before purchasing, and to contact us prior to ordering if any further information is required.

As many pieces are one-of-one, limited, sourced on request, or prepared specifically for an order, cancellation requests made after purchase may be subject to a cancellation charge.

Due to the way payments are processed, should orders need to be cancelled they will incur a cancellation charge, which will need to be made payable prior to refunding.

Where shipping has already been booked, purchased, fulfilled or the parcel has already been dispatched prior to cancellation, postage costs already incurred are non-refundable and may be deducted from any refund issued.

SIZE EXCHANGES

Where another size is available, we may be able to offer an exchange.

The original item must be returned in the same condition received and suitable for resale.

Return shipping of the original item, along with postage costs for dispatching the replacement pair, are the responsibility of the customer.

All exchanges are subject to availability.

AUTHENTICITY

All items are authentic and carefully inspected before sale.

Each product undergoes a multi-step authentication process based on our experience and specialist knowledge of vintage designer goods. Where appropriate, third-party authentication services may also be used.

Do your items come with proof of purchase or authenticity cards?

Unless specifically stated in the listing, items do not come with original proof of purchase, authenticity cards or original packaging due to their age and pre-owned nature.

This does not affect the authenticity of the item.

Why are so many items sold out?

Many of our pieces are one-off vintage finds and may sell quickly.

We regularly restock with similar pieces. If you missed something specific, please contact us at info@amovintage.com and we will let you know if a similar item becomes available.

Can you source a specific item for me?

Yes. We offer a sourcing service at no additional charge.

Please contact us with item details and we will do our best to locate it. As vintage stock is naturally limited, availability and timing cannot be guaranteed.

Where we successfully source a requested item, a non-refundable holding deposit may be required.
